Phoenix Care is based on the foundation of a diabetes case management tool developed with the Joslin Diabetes Center. This tool is a four-year ongoing development project and is in production use at numerous military, private, and community hospitals and health centers. The Phoenix Care suite for bariatric surgery was designed with a major Boston-area medical center's bariatric practice and behavioral health specialists. The software completed usability laboratory testing in May 2006.
